It's so great to see young photographers and recent art school graduates breaking into the boudoir world and pursuing their passion! Ashley Sophia Photography may be new to the boudoir world, but it's evident she has a natural talent for capturing the female form.
One of our favorite things about this shoot is the warmth you feel in the photos. With the ruffled sheets, twinkle lights, and loose sweater you can't help but get a comfy, cozy feeling when you look at these photos. It all looks so effortless -- which is an incredibly difficult thing to achieve.
Her model is strikingly gorgeous and seems so at ease in front of the camera. That red hair is just everything!

From the Photographer | As a somewhat recent photo tech graduate, I found it was pretty difficult finding my true style especially in a new environment. I have moved to sunny Victoria, BC from snowy Edmonton, AB and not having access to all the fancy equipment they have at school proved to be a challenge. This session I feel showcases the direction that I am headed towards. Karly is such a babe and a natural that I found it hard to believe that she’s never done boudoir before! This session is definitely a favourite in both of our portfolios! I used a Nikon D7000 with a 50mm 1.8 and an 85mm 1.8 for this session.
