Ballet and boudoir go together incredibly well. While every woman can rock a boudoir shoot with the direction of a good photographer, I've found that the women it comes most naturally to are those who are very intuned to their body's movements and angles - yogis, gymnstas, and of course BALLERINAS. It's almost as if they understand their bodies strengths and weaknesses on a deeper level having pushed them to their limits while simultaneously exuding grace, elegance, and balance.
We fell in love with this Ballet Fitness Boudoir Shoot by DeAnna Photography the second it hit our inbox. The classic form and strength exuded from this series is astounding. It's obvious how in sync the model and photographer were with one another and they produced some fabulous results.
From the Photographer | I have always wanted to do a ballet boudoir and my first request for a ballerina was already sent out in 2013. Middle of 2017 I became friends with another fitness athlete and saw she did ballet too. I asked her if she’d be interested in doing a ballet fitness boudoir and she was super keen. That is how I eventually managed to shoot this amazing lady. We hired a venue and did the shoot there.
