We were thrilled when we received this boho boudoir shoot from Amy at Curves Boudoir located in Virginia Beach, Va. The soft lighting and warmth of the shoot makes us think of spring! We love the pastel shades and floral prints. There is definitely a strong sense of style here, which really made this shoot stand out to us.
There are so many quaint details in Amy's home studio with lots of vintage and antique touches. It is such an inviting space and was the absolute perfect setting for this stunning fine art boudoir shoot. Hope you enjoy these dreamy images as much as we do!
From the Photographer | I recently created a second home studio space for boudoir sessions and wanted to highlight the space and how it can be used for sessions. At the same time I wanted to work with film and create a session that felt like spring - it's been a long winter! I shot this session with a Contax 645 and Fuji 400 film - I love the way Fuji hits that pastel color spectrum. The furnishings in my new studio space are a mix of a dresser I've had for years and repainted multiple times, a new daybed and antiques and collectibles I've collected over the years. The most loved pieces are the chair and chandelier light that I inherited from my parents. I love how it all came together for this session. My amazing client is a gorgeous, yoga-loving mom of two.
