With much discussion, we have decided to close Lace in Light. We are so grateful for all of the photographers that have contributed to LiL over the years. You have provided us with constant inspiration and helped us personally grow with our own craft of photography.
If you are wondering why, this paragraph is for you! First and foremost our personal evolution has taken us in a different direction. While boudoir and female portrait work will always be a passion, our main focus has shifted into growing our photo company. While it could be possible to continue to run this on the side, our hearts are just not there anymore. We are simply not fans of half ass-ing anything we put our hands on. We hope you understand!
What will happen to Lace in Light now? We will leave the website up to help archive this time period of photography. We hope Lace in Light will continue to motivate photographers, inspire client's, and provide educational tips for this industry. If you have submitted to us and we said yes, please feel free to submit elsewhere. As of today, we will no longer be updating this site.

We are constantly in search of inspiration. Whether we realize it or not every book we read, place we go, song we hear, or conversation we have inspires creative thoughts that make us see the world a little differently. Jesseca Coppedge Photography found her inspiration ofr this shoot in three simple words. Lush. Green. Tranquil.
Those three words inspired her step beyond the world of bedroom boudoir and venture outdoors to Georgia river banks and create some truly remarkable photos. The texture of the sand and the ripples in the water create such a pure and natural aesthetic. The mix of soft neautral tones and a few vivid blues really makes these photos stand out.
I encourage you to take the long way home from work today, go on a walk, sit in the sunshine. Let inspiration fill your soul and create soemthing beautiful.
From the Photographer | Lush. Green. Tranquil. These are the words that inspired me to quickly take what started as an indoor session to the beautiful, sandy bank of the Chattahoochee River. With the serenity of the Georgia banks as our natural backdrop, the light was perfect for this personal, yet classic, boudoir shoot. Taking the shoot outdoors quickly transported me to a different time- a placid but regal embodiment of the beauty that is right in our own backyard.
