Both the model and photographer capture a balance between seriousness and lightness in their sunset session. Beyond the beautiful beaming face of the model is a feeling of both precision and play in the composition of the photographs and the models deep understanding of her body in every posture. Rather than forcing her way into difficult postures, she smiles through. So much so that the photographer, Kylie, found herself moving with the rhythm created by the models breathe and began practicing her own “Photography Yoga”.
Every photograph radiates the deep peace that comes when balancing play with passion. As they dance with their surroundings, their internal beauty radiates through their work, leaving viewers smiling and inspired.

From the Photographer | My vision for this shoot was to create a series of images of a woman doing yoga on the beach among the water and the colours of the setting sun. I've always had a curiosity and appreciation for yoga. Not only is it beautiful, but it requires immense concentration, strength and agility in order to maneuver from one position to another. I loved being able to capture the flow and movement of my model and she performed moved from one position to another. It wasn't long until I too found my self moving smoothly and with rhythm around her, or as I like to call it ''Photography Yoga''.
As for the equipment I used, I photograph with Canon, a Canon 5D Mark III to be exact. Paired that with my Canon 50mm 1.4 and my Sigma Art Series 24mm 1.4 lenses I think it's safe to say I got some images to be proud of.
