My favorite thing about maternity shoots is the celebration of a woman's changing body. There's so much planning involved in preparing for a new baby, but I encourage mamas-to-be to take in every little moment and try to be fully present because it goes by so fast. So often women shy away from taking maternity photos because they think they're not pretty enough or thin enough or fully enough, which is a load of nonsense. One day you'll look back at these photos and realize how truly beautiful pregnancy is.
Valentine's Day is a day to celebrate love in all its forms. This shoot is overflowing with love, anticipation, and connectivity. This mama-to-be is simply radiating!
From the Photographer | As the New Year’s Eve festivities began all around me, I couldn’t help but appreciate the fresh sense of a fresh start. How excited I was for the bright possibilities that lay ahead. A year full of new beginnings, new adventures, and lasting love. I was so eager to share these wonderful moments with my clients! And in the spirit of new beginnings, I came across an irresistible regal maternity gown. The perfect shade of green, with bell sleeves and a flowing train. It was perfect for a new mom-to-be! I used this dress as inspiration to tell the story of two lovebirds on Valentine’s Day, expecting their first baby boy! With the maternity gown showcasing the precious baby bump, we incorporated regal details to our story. A fur cover up, exquisite red lips, a rustic alleyway, and chic red heels brought an elegant yet edgy feel. To top it off, what’s a Valentine’s day without a few roses? This story is full of pure joy for the road ahead, romantic snuggles, picturesque valentine details, and a true love that will last a lifetime.
